How zashi works

A launchpad where the other side of the pair is Zcash. Your token is minted onto a Meteora dynamic bonding curve quoted in ZEC — the Zcash token on Solana — so its price is denominated in ZEC rather than SOL, and the moment it goes live the pad writes a receipt for it on the Zcash chain.

The launch

One transaction does all of it: the mint is created, the curve opens against ZEC, and your dev buy executes. Because the dev buy is an instruction inside that same transaction, nothing can trade in front of it — there is no block in between to be sniped.

The Zcash receipt

Solana and Zcash are different chains with different signers, so one signature cannot land on both. What happens instead: the pad watches its own curve on Solana, and when your launch confirms it writes a transparent Zcash transaction from its issuer address, —. That transaction carries an OP_RETURN with your token's mint and pool address, and pays 10,000 zat to the pad's ledger address, — — an address whose key nobody holds, so those zat are burned. The receipt is on the Zcash chain within a couple of blocks, usually under three minutes, and the token page links to it.

Anyone can audit the pad from Zcash alone: every receipt ever written is a payment to that one ledger address, and each one names a mint that can be checked on Solana. We cannot edit or remove them.

The fee

A flat 1% on every trade, in both directions, taken in ZEC rather than in your token. It splits evenly: half to whoever launched the token, half to zashi. The launcher's half accrues on the curve and is claimable from the token page at any time. There is no launch fee and no cut of your supply.

Graduation

Curves open near $3k and graduate at $25k of market cap. At that point the curve migrates itself into a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. That pool's LP position is held by zashi, not by the launcher: 10% of it is permanently locked — Meteora's minimum — and the remaining 90% can be withdrawn by zashi at any time. Worth knowing before you launch. The 1% trade fee continues on the graduated pool, but it is paid to that pool's LP — zashi's — so the launcher's half ends at graduation. Anything unclaimed from the curve stays claimable from the token page.

What ZEC on Solana actually is

The pair is A7bd…QXaS, the Zcash token on Solana that Jupiter verifies and routes — a classic SPL mint with 8 decimals and its freeze authority revoked. It is a bridged representation issued against Zcash held by the bridge, not a shielded Zcash note: balances and trades on the curve are visible on Solana like any other token. Pairing with it does not make your token private, and it is not backed by Zcash beyond the ZEC that buyers put into the curve.

Reading the pad

There is no backend holding the numbers. Prices, market caps, curve progress and fees are read from the pool accounts on Solana; trades are decoded from the program's own events; the ZEC price comes from Jupiter. The only services of ours in the path are a small index of which mints launched here, a pinning endpoint for artwork, and the receipt writer — if all three vanished, every token would keep trading exactly as it does now, and every receipt already written would still be on Zcash.
